Access Control
Access control can take the form of a keypad, a proximity reader using key fobs or a BioAccess technology such as finger print recognition. Both stand alone and networked solutions are available with systems capable of unlimited entrance points and up to 15000 users with the network being provided via either RS485 or Ethernet using LAN or WAN.
Coded Access
Coded keypad with 1 relay + second 0V output
Typically for use within the private sector, schools, hospitals, housing and commercial areas.
From a design viewpoint, the Coded Keypad range complements Videx’s existing range of proximity and fingerprint readers. The robust surface mounted keypads all have a compact 92mm x 51mm x 25mm footprint and are available in a standard silver finish or charcoal, white, blue, red and green. With resin potted electronics, all models are IP65 rated.
Backlit for easy viewing, additional user friendly features include three indication LEDs for use during operation and programming. An integral beeper and tactile feel provides user feedback.
Standalone coded Keypads will suit access control of single entrances and only need a 12/24 AC or DC power supply and a lock. They include a dry contact relay output, exit button input and memory for up to 99 codes. Additionally there is a second 0V output to trigger another relay for other purposes such as a seond door.
Mounted Keypad Coded Access
Stainless steel flush mounting coded access keypad. It has 2 codes and 2 relay outputs with a PTE input on the first relay. Both relays are programmable between 1-99 seconds or latching. Requires 12-24v ac/dc psu.

Proximity access system, Controllers available for 20, 100, 250, 1000 or 4000 users with capacity for up to 20 main entrances and up to 99 apartment entrances.
8000 series Vprox reader module is suitable for all Vprox systems. It has a yellow standby led, green “fob/card accepted” led and red “not valid led. This reader must be fitted within 50 metres of controller and requires 5 connections
